Do we have any info on how Stellaris will handle CB's (or whatever they are called in the future).
I can imagine it being similar to the EU4 system, with planets instead of provinces. Personally I would prefer it not to go down the usual 4X route of ''Declare war, conquer everything''.
On a similar note, could there be a federation vote mechanic to settle disputes, such as, two factions in a federation argue over a planet so the fed as a whole votes over who gets it.
 
It said that you need a claim on solar system to take. But it is unknown if you simply send your diplomat there, like in EU/CK or do something else.

Also, I wonder if you can take single planets without entire systems
