Hello;
finally tried Cetanas crisis (x5) well, that is realy interesting story and interesting crisis.
But this playthrough seemed much more laggy than ones before. It seems game still suffers from late game lag.
But anyway, wanted just to share last moments of

These amounts of ships - they remind me of 1.0-1.9 days.
Stellaris always had massive lag issues once single fleet powers went into the millions and 2 of such fleets went into battle.
This is why from 2.0 till 2.9 total ship numbers and the economy got gutted (total popnumbers caused the main lag).
From 3.0 onwards the economy and tozal shipnumbers slowly recovered peaking in machine nanite fleets.
And now in 4.0 we are back were we began (lag from pop numbers is mostly gone). Massive economy - massive shipnumbers battling it out and a suffering of lag.

Wow, and I thought my battle with her (at 2.5x strength) a couple of days ago was laggy!

(Hot take: we wouldn't need so many ships in at least this one case if beating Cetana's colossus wasn't a DPS check)

And now in 4.0 we are back were we began (lag from pop numbers is mostly gone). Massive economy - massive shipnumbers battling it out and a suffering of lag.
The testing here seems to agree (with weapon types affecting it further)

For a story driven crisis she really lacks a way to beat her other than "make a million ships". Psionic empires do but not the others. It would be cool if we could for instance make a project to temportarily stun all nanites giving her colossus and all the other ships 0 regeneration (disable the nanite component) for a few months. This could be done multiple times but be more costly each time making research speed important to defeat her if you can't overwhelm her army in one swoop.
