Change forum colors?

In various other vBulletin boards, there is the option to change the color scheme - not so here. Will this feature be available when the forum is upgraded? I find this current dark-bluish pallette very hard on the eyes after a few hours, and I'd really like to change it to something lighter! :D

We have a few customizations that need to be added in new templates before I can let you use them, but that is a possibility when the upgraded forum goes live yes. I have a bit more testing to do, but it's getting closer.
 
I've always liked the dark blue. I think its one of the little perks that make this my favorite forum. (So don't dump it :p)
 
Well, the idea is not to just get a new palette - it's to allow us to choose our own from different templates. If you look at the vBulletin at e.g. Civfanatics.com, they have 8 different palettes that users can choose from. I suspect this functionality comes with later versions of vB.

It's funny, but true. Everytime I visit the Victoria subforum I can't stay long, because I much prefer the blue from the main section of the forums. Even just a way to change it without writing my own css filter would be great :D
 
I like the blue also, wish all were this color.
 
I like the dark blue very much, been used to it since I arrived here at Paradox, but I agree the red of Victoria is a large part of what keeps me away from the game and AAR forum. The grey of HoI isn't my taste either, too colorless.

Same here, ough that color hurts the eyes :cool:

Actually when V2 was first announced the forum colours were standard (boring) blue. We had to protest to get them changed to the glorious Vicky colours :)
 
hmm, maybe we will have a contest to design a new colour scheme for the Victoria forums.
 
Sorry if this has been asked elsewhere, but when can we expect these forum updates?
 
I think the biggest issue will be the Database(s). On a Forum which has over 200.000 Users, almost half a million threads and over 11 Million Posts, the database must be several Gigabytes big and transfering that much data to another forum isn´t that easy and there will be potential errors so they have to do everything step by step
