Can you help me change save game location out of C: drives? My C: drive space is limited and every time crash reports and saves keep adding up to and take a huge chunk of several GB in my C: drive, so I need to redirect it to other drives with way way too many space to spare.

The easiest way past such issues is normally to use Steam Cloud saves, but unfortunately that has a problem right now

The next easiest way is to change your set Windows User Documents folder. In the left column of File Explorer right click on Documents, just under This PC there. Go to Properties, Location - you can change that there. Of course that obtains for the whole of Windows not just this game, but if you are that short of space that may be the best solution overall. I see you have EU4 and HOI4, so this will help with their file writes too.

There is also a way of just redirecting this one game's writes to elsewhere by editing launcher-settings.json in the Steam/Vic3/launcher folder, but that may have to be redone after ever game patch. With previous games that also required you to make a new file userdir.txt also pointing to the new location, but I haven't been able to test this with this game yet. Quite a fiddly process to implement and maintain!

Hi I changed the settings on Json file then I started the Launcher recognize ok, but, when I start the game, recognize the default documents game folder instead of edited path

My problem is a little diferent of the owner of this post, I have space on C, but in documents folder is used on OneDrive, and the Victoria3 folder generate 2GB of shaders, and OneDrive is stressing me cause of its warnings of 'you need more space on OneDrive please update' (Free limit is 5gb or 10gb), Or I fix this and game accept the new Path on 'D:\Paradox\Victoria 3' , or I will desative OneDrive
