Change victory year

I am playing the Grand Campaign from year 1419 , and it supposed to end in year 1819 Dec.

I change the victory year in "victory" setting to year i.e 2000, before I load the save, but it still forced me to end the scenario in 1819. Wt should I do to continue playing ?

Open your savegame and you find at line 6 the endyear = 1819 now make it 2000.

Though techs will stop in 1819 or a bit later depends on the nations. And no events after 1819 nor monarchs or leaders.
