Guys

I need some help here, I am hosting a 6 player DD game and cannot change the game speed whilst in game. In the options menu the speeds are greyed out and I cant select them, this is so whether I pause or not before opening the options window. Also I have tried the CTRL +/- shortcut and it does nothing.

This blows cos the whole session gets stuck at the starting speed which to aviod initial lag spikes is usually below normal.

2 things,

Are you using a USB keyboard?

Are you using the -/+ on the NUMPAD or on the Number Line (near your backspace key) Or maybe you have tried both yes?

Anything unique about your PC or Keyboard? Software, IE has the keyboard software had the correct software installed? If your Keyboard has multimedia funtions on it, there hould be software for it. Unless of course its just a vanilla 101key keyboard.

Only things i can think of mate.

(PS i always see the speed controls as greyed out, i can only ever do it in MP with the CTRL function)

The button which displays the date and time makes the game pause when you left-click on it. What you need is a right-click on this button. This gives you a pop-up which lets the host change the game speed. This also lets clients toggle between sprites and counters so that each player can use their own preference.
