Why changing the ruling party affects my factories' efficient?
That shouldn't be happening. Ruling parties tend to only change how far your economic/tax sliders can go, and whether or not you can institute reforms.
I am a bad English listener but is there any relation between King Arthur and my factories?
lol @ monty python reference; maybe you're changing to a liberal full-citizenship party and you're getting immigrants and you're noticing the temporary boost to efficiency before those 100/125 POPs assimilate. otherwise that is really weird
Oh, yes. But when I changed to a residence party the profits was lost.
According to the VickyWiki, parties with laissez-faire import goods at half-price.
I have read from other posters that this happens when you have a free trade policy.
I'm not sure which it is. I usually tend to go with the Wiki.
Either way, you can alter your profitability by changing your ruling party.

Don't you need both ? I remember a late late game with free-trade socialists, and it didn't gave me the discount. And neither did the early oranje protectionist liberal party...
I am pretty sure that is LF, not Free Trade what reduces your import prices. I made the test, changed a Interventionist Protectionist for a LF Protectionist and my exports costs halved!!
Anyhow, that doesn´t affect your factory efficiency or benefit. The benefit is calculated based in the difference in price (WM)between the input and output products, no matter if you are producing them yourself or importing them (normal or half price).

Proof tested, I suppose. I assume you mean your import costs halved.
At least that's what I was expecting to see.LF, not Free Trade, so no more junk from you Free Traders out there!!!
