Changing language?

I've picked up the German DVD edition of the game. Normally I just import my games because the localizations are rarely impressive, but the box was fairly inexpensive so I went with it when I saw it in the store. Sadly, the game didn't offer to be installed in English and there's no option to change the language.

Is there any way at all to change the language from German to English? (By editing a config file, etc.)

Sadly, no. I think only the Steam version lets you switch languages.

Ah, shame. Thanks for the response, this saves me some fiddling around. The localization isn't horrible, and the game's fun nonetheless. I am not sure if the expansion will work with the German version, though (it's not offered in German). Teaches me to pick up boxes locally instead of just buying a digital copy from GamersGate, etc. (Trying to avoid Steam, but that's a topic for a different thread.)
