When I installed EU, I was logged in under another user name. That name, of course, is the one that comes up for scenarios - even after I logged in under a new user name (and even after I changed it in the config file). How do I change it?

Are you sure you're playing EU?
If you mean your 'name' when you surrender (i.e. quit) that is under your country, then that's the name it takes from your computer ID. If you want to change it, go to your control panel/network/identificaiton/computer name and change your computer name to whatever your little heart desires.
Be carefull though, if you are part of a network this change will seriously screw you up!

If you're talking about your name in the game, I think you can start a multi-player game, type in a name and then abort the game (hit Back). That name then will show up as your name in single player games.
