Changing Map Colors

Question:

I have been playing the 3rd Reich Mod and like the color scheme for several of the filters; Political, Terrain - heck, I prefer them all.

Is there a straightforward way to change vanilla's color scheme? Can I copy & paste from one text file to another to change the RGB values?

The simplest way would be to copy&paste db\country.csv and map\colorscales.csv files from the Third Reich mod to your corresponding AoD directories.

What does country.csv do for me? Can I juts C&P the colorscales file alone?

Yes. Try first copying only that one and, if you're ok, then let it be.

The country.csv file only changes the colors of the countries in political mode; you could backup the original one, try the new one and see if you like the difference.
