Are there any mods out there that change province names to be more correct? I tried to do it manually by changing the provincenames.txt in "config" folder but they stayed the same in the graphic map, even though stuff like "Count of..." changed...I also tried to modify the map but I couldnt get the map editor to work

I would want to change the provinces in Finland to have Finnish names instead of Swedish ones since in 1066 Finland wasnt yet under Swedish influence

The map is a bitmap graphic, so unless you extract and edit it (and of course reimport it), no dice.

It's why the infamous Plauen/Lausitz error is still around, and why we can't do anything about Cebta (Ceuta) or other interesting spellings.
