I read some information, if Germany want to change its naval doctrine from Sealane to Base Strike, Germany had to given up some tech in its spreadhead land doctrine... which one she need to give up?
How I understand it, you lose the bonuses if you abandon the doctrine manually, but keep them if it is removed from you by event which doesn't happen in the vanilla game.
perhaps i wrote badly... it will be better if i copy directly from wiki..
... You will be dependant on Japanese blueprints to get far in the BS tree, and you'll have to neglect some of your precious air/land research..
so which air/land research I have to neglect??
what that means is you won't have the time or the slots to research more navy along with your usual doctrines. So if you concentrate on naval doctrines, you'll need to skip researching something else.
No doctrine restricts you from researching other doctrines in other fields. Only time and available slots imposes restrictions
If you're switching doctrines Japanes blueprints help. YOu don't want to invite the Japanese into the Axis early as it usually means immediate war with the USA as Japan DoW's very quickly. Once you have the relevent ship/aircraft producing lines researched, and 1941 infantry/tanks done and up to date air doctrines you can spare a research slot for naval doctrines. Early navy you are better off sticking with SLI.
