Does anybody know where could I change the color value for Terra Incognita? The current white often makes a very high contrast. I'd like to make it e.g. light gray or light brown.

Thank you!

I believe it is the "winter" color in colorscales_terrains.txt. You could pull the color values from LightGray or LightBrown in the political colorscales as a starting point.

Hmmm, I've fiddled with many setups (not only within the colorscales_terrains.txt file) but to no avail... Are we sure the default white color for Terra Incognita can actually be changed?

I'm puzzled

After extensive study, it turns out this is not possible at present. Terra incognita is handled deep within mounds of arcane map code, which... well... works. So I'm not inclined to touch it unless there's a serious problem.

I'll see what I can do, though.
