How do u mod ur political alignment before game? like making mexico communist or the such?

Use F12 to open the console. Type in "freedom" without the quotation marks, hit enter. Move sliders as desired. Retype "freedom", hit enter. Close the console and play on.
Or you can edit the inc file in any of the folders in scenario. 1 is extreme right and 10 is extrime left.
0 (zero) I think is the lowest possible value.
Also, the policies work both ways. 10 isolationism is the same thing as 0 interventionism. Same for left/right and others.
