The UK plans to fight a limited war to regain Gibraltar. If we agree a peace with Spain as soon as the status quo is restored, would that be agreeable? I'm not sure exactly how it's going to work out but the Axis can escalate as it pleases. If both sides escalate then there is a risk of general war. Some suspense in that respect is good for the game IMO - keeps us from doing silly things like disbanding all our forces.

There was no DOW as we already had a war - the Spanish Civil War. Germany joined this war first, by allying with Nationalist Spain - something that was only possible because a human had been put in charge of the country. UK then allied with Republican Spain, as already planned and announced to get access to retake Gibraltar. The resulting general war is clearly Germany's fault as it had no business getting so involved in Spain.Umbre said:Second thing to say is that we were eager to battle, and UK player made a surprise DOW to Nat Spain, pretexting the need to recover Gibraltar from partisans. Since Nat Spain had just allied with Germany, WW2 broke out in mid 37 !
Another bug to report seems to be that USA complained he tried many tiimes to fund partisans in Germany and it never worked. Maybe Nehas could confirm this and give more precise information.Colonel Warden said:This game is proving a fruitful source of bugs generally.
Colonel Warden said:SU DOWing USA to get them into the war was an exploit, set up by the USA who promised the SU peace. The US and SU are the most powerful countries in the game. If their players abuse this power then it destroys the game for everyone else. Tsk.

The UK is, in fact, severely crippled by dissent of 61% and high partisan levels all over its Empire. This game is not at all boring but quite interesting in the Chinese sense.Phadishar said:This seems as a very point less and boring game with UK and USA at full strength already by 1937...
