Character Interaction " Designate heir " non-working as adventurer

Description​

Title - The Designating a heir interaction is not working...I my case I used said character interaction on my lover/wife, but she is just not put in the sucession line and also is ignored then when sucession actucally happens.

A problem with the designated heir in the camp was already reported by @Zarch88 in September ( https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/foru...haracter-die-the-heir-doesnt-inherit.1705506/ ), but the issue couldn't be reproduced back then and @Qloc_Wild_Wind closed the thread, though explicitly requesting to open a new one, if an issue should be encountered again. So that is what I'm doing here.

I would like to add that IMO fixing this problem is especially important as non-adult children inheriting a camp is plagued by its very own issues ( https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/foru...claiming-may-only-be-ruled-by-adults.1705917/ )

Steps to reproduce​

See my screenshots and/or load the attached save:

1. Ask Esmercan to become designed heir
2. Since she is lowborn, you need to adopt her into your dynasty
3. She will agree...
4. ...but then does not appear in the sucession queue
5. If your character dies, the heir is indeed not your designed one, but the one picked by camp sucession

Okay, so there a few things going on here that the game isn't telling you. First, you can't adopt someone older than you and your wife is almost twice your age, so the adopt part of the effect fails. Then, because only descendants can be designated, and she wasn't successfully adopted, the designate heir part doesn't work. But even if your wife was younger than you, and the adoption works, she still can't be designated because your camp succession law is male only. It would need to at least be male preference for a female to be heir.
I used console commands to make her younger, and was able to designate her after changing succession laws.
