Hi,

I have just bought this game, and so far I like it. However, I had a broken "Suspension of disbelief" moment, which worries me a bit, so I have a noob question:

How many turns does it actually take to finish this game ? I have done Book 1, and I must have clock a few turns already.

Are the characters from the game actually ageing, having family if married, retiring when too old ? Or if it takes 400 turns to finish the game, does it mean we have to believe in a forever young looking 100+ years old King Arthur ?

As you know it’s a fantasy game, so there are many kinds of spells, mages, fantasy creatures and yes, heroes who live for long. You’re right, their children don’t have any roles in the King Arthur, we don’t know anything about them but hey, you will see in the sequel, that for example Arthur has a son and he will be a very important character in King Arthur 2! :)

I just was wondering. But it would have been cool to start the saga as, say King Arthur at 15, and have a race against time as much as against the other element of the game, so as not to finish with an ancient king rather than a King of Ancient.

Now, the seasons mechanism, which is a very cool system, feel a bit more artificial to me. Note that the game/number of turns could have been adapt by making it like 2 or 3 turns a season...

Oh well.

Hi, i finish most of my games around turn 200. With a 15 years old King Arthur at the start, i end up with 65y, but no sons or daughters :( , ^^ .
Hmm, that's OK then, in most version of the legend, the king is quite old when one of his knight finally found the grail. :)

Thanks,

Cat
