This has probably been discussed before, but I will give it another go.

Yesterday we had a 5-player game going and we had to stop 2 or 3 times because people got stuck in chat mode. This has happened to me in earlier games - you type a message, press Return and nothing happens except that you highlight the name of a country on the chat list.
You can move your troops around but you cannot enter any map or window, and, most importantly, you cannot get rid of that darned chat window.
I am not 100% sure, but I _think_ what I did to get in that situation was to start a chat, do something else and then try to finish and send the message, i.e. clicking anywhere on the map while in chat mode causes this. That is my theory.
Anyone else with a theory?

Another bug, also annoying, and maybe related to the first. When in chat mode, typing your message, suddenly your space bar does not work anymore. The only thing happening is that a country is highlighted when you press space and there are no spaces in your message. You can still send the message.
I have no theories whatsoever about this feature. It seems totally random.
