I have a buddy getting the Checksum RRJN He has DLed the arm v 1.2 why doesnt it read VBLV? Am I just missing something? He keeps DLing and installing the version from this site and Paradoxplaza.com and it keeps say RRJN.

Are you sure he's installing the patch over Arma and not over vanilla HoI2 or Doomsday? And that Arma was installed over Doomsday (assuming it's the GG version and not from the Anthology)?

yep we got it figured out. thanks
What did it turn out to be (in case someone else comes up with this same checksum)?

He didnt load up the game and patches in the right order. He put the game in then 1.2 for ARM. He needed to do the 1.3a doomsday patch first.

but now we are having trouble running the game. Its funny. He will try to do the 36 game and it will load up and then when it is supposed to go to the screen to start their is an error message.

There's no need for the DD patch if you are running Armageddon. Just install DD (any version) -> Arma -> Arma 1.2 patch .

What error message are you getting?

we have not tried it in a couple of days to load up everything I will post back here when I get that info.

my problem was not changing where it is installed, it was trying to install the 1.2 vblv on doomsday, I then realized all I had to do was delete where it says doomsday and type armageddon,(destination of install) That fix both the vblv problem and the trouble running. Might work for you.
