Pleasel haemimont games and the group of Surviving Mars Colossal Order made a especial DLC of surviving mars so as a fan of cities skylines I ask that you need to return the favor and add to the Game COLOSSAL ORDER as a Medium Sponsor , add Chirpy as a logo and add the Cities Radio to the radio stations of mars.

Bring worlds together as brothers!!

I propose that the devs roll out an updating forcing Chirpy into the game, but only for those who have explicitly expressed hate of Chirpy. The chirping will continue until morale improves.

Just take it easy. One thing is to have Chirpy and silencing it with mods, and one thing is not to have Chirpy at all. Personally, I'd like to read tweets from Mars but if you don't like it, at least do not block any development and get some mods to switch it off.

That.... Doesn't follow. The signature mascot thing of a completely different game by a completely different company should be the mod, not the default disabled by a mod.

Not sure the city skylines folks would even be happy with their toy being tossed out as free use by other developers.

I also do not expect it to happen, at least for the time being. There are issues as you mention. I wanted to express my thoughts stemmed by positive emotions. I'm also fond of Cities Skylines and giving my citizens to have free speech. It doesn't have to be the exact Chirpy. Like wonders, there could be Marswide wireless connection by satellites which provides service comfort everywhere and enabling some version of social media. I imagine someone tweeting "Oh no, everyone run for their lives!" when meteor shower happens. But, that's what we can discuss in other topics.

Long story short, I wanted people to avoid prejudgement and fuel brainstorming.

First of all,

The Chirpy idea was one from Colossal Order so, this is part of CO and Not from Haemimont, the Tropico guys btw!

Deuxio, you can find in Cities: Skylines radios staions playing music from other games published by Paradox Interactive (the guys who manage contract deal, merch and so on).
Official Mars music is not a scoop then (not for me at last^^)

Haemimont may dig ideas from CO for their own, as they did for radio station. but they have to find new idea than Chirpy CO mascot for their Surviving Mars
Because Chirpy is unique, and part of CS only.

Mods can be and that's it.
