Hello there:
I am the newest of all newbies, and don't know code from a hole in the ground, but what I do have is a detailed chronology of the years 1071-1241, worldwide, one Word file of about 15 pages per year, plus files every ten years for who's got what and where. It's work in progress, been at it for 18 years. I heard that a Lucius Sulla is working on a more realistic treatment of al-Andalus, and Spain is a particular interest of mine. Let me know if I can help with anything. I don't do IM, though, I was thinking mail.

PS
davidpug@online.no

I'll send a sample by mail, if anyone wants the lot I can burn a CD and send it to a meat address.

Sorry, no, but you might look for:
Storey, R.L., Chronology of the Medieval World, 800 to 1491, Barrie & Jenkins, London (1973). It's a bit thin, and full of errors, but.... Then there's Ross, Martha, Rulers and Governments of the World. Volume 1: Earliest Times to 1491, Bowker, London/New York (1978)
and see if this site is still running:
Gordon, Bruce, Regnal Chronologies, http://web.raex.com/~obsidian/regindex.html

this is the link for regnal chronologies

Yup, that's the same site. (Mumble) years ago I spent quite a lot of time with it, arguing with Obsidian by mail. I learnt some stuff from him, he learnt some stuff from me, and we had some drawn rounds of "Yes it is -- no it ain't" as well. People have asked me to put up my own chronology, which is event rather than regnal, but I don't even have a home page, nor any inclination to learn html.
