I’m happy that cities skyline 2 is finally coming but I’m worried that it won’t be on consoles on day one, does anyone have more info about this?

Cities Skylines 2 is a whole new game and is coming to both Xbox Series X|S and Playstation 5. TrueAchievements has a list of all the achievements for the Xbox version which is also confirmed to be coming to game pass. You can find the list of achievements here: https://www.trueachievements.com/n53097/cities-skylines-ii-xbox-achievementsThey wouldn’t spend 6 months making the remastered version of the game and then only to release Cities Skylines 2 shortly afterwards.
Basically Next Gen consoles get Remastered version and Steam gets CS 2 instead, it was planned along time ago given the accident leak for pre-orders for CS 2 back last year.
Its a huge shame for us console community, we have no Mod’s so have to buy all the DLC and Expansion’s whilst on Steam Workshop the same Fan based Mod’s and groundbreaking features are free. (I pray I’m wrong though)
I love this game and it has helped me with the loss of my Mother and depression and PTSD, but I feel we only get a half measured potential of the epic Steam game.
Best of luck Citiea Skylines 2
Don't expect that to work as the system has moved on since than.. but would be nice. Will saves from Cities Skylines Remastered either Maps we create or cities we build can we use them or access them on the new Cities Skylines 2 as I don’t want to spend lots of hours on Remastered if it’s not compatible.
Saves from CS1 (even CS1 remastered) will not work with CS2. Main giveaway is the achievement in Cities: Skylines II "Everything the Light Touches" where you have to unlock 150 tiles. Cities: Skylines 1 on PC has a max of 81 tiles with mods. Will saves from Cities Skylines Remastered either Maps we create or cities we build can we use them or access them on the new Cities Skylines 2 as I don’t want to spend lots of hours on Remastered if it’s not compatible.
