Hey all!

I have been playing CS2 for some time now, and have had no problems. I recently started using Paradox Mods, and everything was working fine. When I went to log on to play again. I clicked play in the Paradox Launcher and the loading screen will open, but then immediately after, the screen will go black and it will close with no error code.I went into Paradox Mods (web) and unsubscribed to all my mods thinking that could be an issue. Additionally, I reinstalled the game (three times), tried deleting old files in the Steam folder, and running it in Administrator Mode and nothing.

Hoping somebody can help point me in the right direction! (edited)

There are quite a few posts like this in the Mod sub-forum and the bug sub-forum, they might have solutions in those threads.
 
Mods are tricky...... there are many mods that are no longer updated or may not have received an update for the latest patch, and modding in general is very much in a beta stage still.

Perhaps you can go through your mods and look at each mod to see if it is still working or causes issues. If that is no good, please post a list of your mods..... maybe one of us has an idea.
 
Do a clean reinstall:

Remove the game from Steam (uninstall)
Manually delete all these files and folders, if still there:

…\Steam\steamapps\common\Cities Skylines II\
…\AppData\LocalLow\Colossal Order\Cities Skylines II\
(first move the /saves/ folder elsewhere to keep your save games)
(To see the AppData folder you'll need to enable View Hidden Items in File Explorer)

I'll try this! When I reinstalled the game, I forgot the LocalLow files the first time. Hope this works!

Did it worked out for you? I use bootable MacBook Pro 2019 with i7, 2.2 GHz, 16 gb ram and AMD Radeon Pro 555X, and run Windows 10 Pro.

In the begining, its freezing on loading screen before the main menu. After I uninstall Paradox game launcher, and give the game the command "Cities.bat %command%", with command in bat-file; "Cities2.exe %command%". This ffunction fix the loading issue to the main menu.

Now, I can choose New Game, and after that, the loading for a New Game is freezing.

No mods. I have reinstall the game thru Steam 3 times. Not working. Whats the problem? Why is it so complicated to install and run a game?

TYI: GTA V with mods and Cities Skylines 1 works perf on this machine. The same with Battlefield and other games with high specs.

This is well below the game's minimum requirement, the AMD® Radeon™ RX 480

Sorry but this game will never run on that hardware. Your options include ussing an eGPU, or a hosting service such as GeForce Now. Or of course playing on a machine that meets the minimum requirements.

Regardless of the particular game, never buy a computer just to play one game.
If your current system suffices you, stay with it.

Games are commodoties and they come and go, but a computer costs you real money. Money that may be spent for more important things.
