Can't launch the game from epic games

What is your game version?
1.16.0-f4

What expansions do you have installed?

What mods are you using?
None

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I downloaded the game from epic games but when i click play nothing happens. I can launch it through the game files but when i launch the game i can't create or load a city. I also see an error messeage everytime i launch the game through the game files. I also tried runing the game as an administrator and it's still the same.

Can you replicate the issue? If yes, please explain how you did it.
