Hopefully the devs can read those .dmp files and pinpoint the cause of your issue.

However!
As you have Windows 11 24H2 this is very likely the cause of this problem.

it is a severely broken Windows update that has caused problems across the whole gaming - indeed computer - industry.

Some users found relief in various ways:

That aside, Certainly make sure you have the latest MS updates for it installed, but if that doesn't help all you can do is revert to 23H2 if you still can.

The CSL2 devs are aware of the issue of course, but I don't know whether it is thought possible to change the game to work around the Windows 11 bugs.

Sorry about that!

I understand this 24h2 update may be an issue but the game is literally unplayable. I see many many threads describing this issue so is there a fix coming soon or am I to just never play this game again after paying for it? Very frustrated....I bought a new graphics card hoping it would fix the issue and it's no better than before...

If you have Urban Promenades DLC, can you try disabling that for a bit and see if it still crashes-just a pet suspicion of mine that the DLC does something in certain circumstances to cause a crash for some people

I am having the same issue. Happens after about 30-45 min of gameplay. The problem started about about a week ago. I have had a new graphics card for about 2 weeks.

I have 23H2, a new graphics card. And it's crashing all the time also.!

I do not know what this thread is marked as fixed. While disabling the DLC Urban Promenades seemed to stop the crashing, that is a work around, not a fix. Also these random crashes that are described here are very common with this came on both Windows 10 and 11, no mater the feature release. This thread has revealed that there seems to be an issue with the UP DLC as I see crashing after using some the the service buildings from that DLC. I also think the update that added service vehicles to the building parking lots may also be part of the issue. There also seems to be a separate bug related to auto save that crashes the game to desktop just like the other bugs I described. Between the crashes when using base game features (DLC is a paid expansion that should not have to be disabled) and simulation oddities (no crime no matter how the city is), this game really unplayable for me. I want to play the game, but with each fix, we seem to get other problems, basically running in place.

A user has come up with another possible workaround
Now I've not seen any feedback on that step, but it seems harmless and might be worth a try.

I'd love to have some feedback on that!

I would avoid this step. From what is described, it is for a very specific circumstance (assuming it will work for that anyway). This would only be for people running Windows 11 24H2 and are using a DRAMless SSD. I can say this does not apply to me. Also I am generally against making registry changes for a CURRENTLY SUPPORTED GAME or OS. Anyone who wants to attempt this fix should make sure you are backing up the registry keys before you make changes. Also you should create a restore point in Windows so you can revert back in case you are no longer able to boot into Windows.Reading the fix itself still does not make sense on how it would help when running the game. I am also in IT and while I can't completely refute what he has posted (his description does not make sense), I would strongly advise away from it without more information to start with.

Thank you for the response. If you'd like to discuss it with that user by all means post in that thread.
