Seeing the trailer I'm really impressed ;)

However, I've seen a lot of duplicated buildings in the trailer (I'm aware that most of them may be placeholders). How diverse will the game be? Or are you adding random buildings(maybe even procedual generated) to the game (different color-schemes, small variations etc.).

Also in the trailer @0:37 all cars are using the same line on a multiline road(as they tend to do on user-made cim2 maps). I hope this will get fixed until release ;)

Heh, the traffic issues from CiM2 (and I suppose SimCity5) was brought up during the Q&A. This seems to be a big focus on the development (and I assume they are not finished).

Except it was one of the things that SimCity5 did not do well; because it was dependent on the visual objects. If they somehow failed (perhaps a glitch), the garbage would not have been collected. Generally speaking, the agent system in SimCity5 was a huge failure. Interesting in theory, but not working when implemented.

Old SimCity games worked better with an underlying simulation and an above visualisation.

Yes, but maybe CO could make a working system unlike SC2013.

I just don't want to see that there is traffic, but garbage is being taken away perfect fine...or there is no traffic, but garbage does not get taken away any faster than if there was no traffic.

I guess I don't want them to be too seperated from eachother than it breaks the immersion.

Either way, shall we all move to the Cities Skyline forum now? :D

That I concur with, but I am pretty certain having garbage collection zones is not just a certainty that garbage will be collected in those zones. Traffic is always hard to model and simulate, but I think CO has made great progress through their CiM games.

Which forum?! It hasn't been created yet. Or am I not cool enough to see it?

Thanks for the answer, haven't had time to go fully through all the content released by paradox lately ;D

We shall see us in the csl forums ;)
