Save game doesnt work on Xbox One

What is your game version?
Most recent download from MS store

What expansions do you have installed?

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Game saves do not load. No new game saves can be created

Can you replicate the issue? If yes, please explain how you did it.
Yes every time I try and use saves it does not work

So looking around on the internet it seems that this has been a known and recurring issue since April 2017. Really feeble that it hasn't been fixed. My son was very excited about this game. Just had to delete it from the machine as it is unusable as is. I find it incomprehensible that any game of this nature could have shipped without a fully functioning save option let alone not be resolved for circa 18 months.

People certainly do play and save this game on XBox successfully ... it is not the case that no one has been able to save a game on it for nearly 2 years!

Please try this:

- uninstall the game from the XBox

- clear the XBox cache and game files (save game data)

- install the game again

I have a similar problem. Every time I open a save-game, what I can do, I am then unable to save. There only is a dutch error (and I‘m not from the Netherlands!), telling me that saving is not possible at the moment and I should try later. Of course I already reinstalled the game multiple times and also tried to clear the cache and installing the game without the extension-packs, but after one month trying everything I could think of it still does not work.
