Cities Skylines Stays on Loading Screen [Win10 store edition]

I downloaded the gamed at Easter and have been playing fine daily since then. Yesterday I needed to buy more land, but the land tab had disappeared. Normally when that happens, I just save the game, exit to the main menu, and continue the game. That's been working. Yesterday, however, once I got to the main menu I could not get into my game again. It stayed on the loading screen. I tried completely closing the game and reopening, I tried turning my PC on/off, and I tried uninstalling and re-installing. I still cannot open the game. It just stays on the loading screen. I've read a few other threads on how to fix this, but I'm not playing on Steam and I do not have Citrix Workspace on my PC., so I have not found a helpful solution. I played for three hours yesterday before this happened, so I'm not sure what suddenly went wrong.

You mean your Save Game? What happens with a New Game?

I can't even get to the main menu now to click on "Continue Game" or "New Game". I get to the screen that says "Press Any Key", so I do, and then I get a screen with a skyline background that says "loading" and it stays there.

As far as I know, my PC doesn't have Steam. I just bought the game on the Microsoft Store and access it from my taskbar.

So - it is the Windows 10 Edition. - Well ... do you can find the Game Folder and look if there is a output.log file? I dont know much about it.

I did not realize there was a different page for Windows 10 edition (new to the game and the forum). I had Googled help first, but most of the pages I found were for steam. I read the sticky threads here and they didn't help either. I think I got it fixed now, but I lost the map I was on even though it was saved.
