Game not popping up when clicking the play button on Steam.

What is your game version?
Likely latest version since it was bought less than a day of writing this review.

What expansions do you have installed?
(DID NOT ANSWER QUESTION)

What mods are you using?
Used traffic manager, anarchy, and move it mods. (Unsubscribed before trying again) back to the same error.

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
On the first time of opening the game (Mods listed above have been downloaded), it was working fine. Didn't create a world yet since I had to leave (I closed the game perfectly fine). Later, when I tried to open the game, it didn't pop up. It said running but the game window itself didn't pop up. When closing the program, it said stopping but it still stayed like that. Because of that, I couldn't log out. As a result, I tried restarting (don't know if that would help or make the problem worse).

Can you replicate the issue? If yes, please explain how you did it.

Note: I don't have any expansions as I just bought this game.

You can bypass the launcher by following these instructions:

- Download the attached cities.bat.zip file
- extract cities.bat from it
- Place the .bat file in your game's Steam folder (In the same place as your cities.exe)
- Right click the game in your Steam library
- Go to properties
- Select Set Launch Options
- Copy and Paste cities.bat %command% into the input box
- Select Ok
- Run the game
