trying to load the game but stuck on the loading screen

What is your game version?


What expansions do you have installed?
After Dark, Snowfall, Natural Disasters, Mass Transit, Green Cities, Parklife, Industries, Campus, Sunset Harbor

What mods are you using?
i have check them with the mod checker and all seem fine will post a pictures to make sure i dont get any of the mod name wrong

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
i click load game then it stuck on there

Can you replicate the issue? If yes, please explain how you did it.
if i click the load game then yes i can replicate the issue

forget to say, i did look at other post and try what it say in there i took mod out and add replacement if needed i look on people advice on here for a week but still broken

You can find your output log in:

• Windows: ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Cities_Skylines\Cities_Data\output_log.txt
• MacOS: ~Library/Logs/Unity/Player.log
• Linux: ~/.config/unity3d/Colossal Order/Cities: Skylines/Player.log

I suspect you're running out of available memory. With 16GB of RAM, the recommended amount of custom assets to be subscribed to is 800-1200 - or way less than that with DLCs enabled - and it seems you have 3,000+.
Drastically lower your asset count and see if then you're able to run the game.

The output log says you have 16GB. You can check how much memory your machine has by going into its settings.

Just unsubscribe from them in the Steam Workshop - avoid unsubscribing from custom networks (roads, highways, railways, etc.) you might've used tho, since the game will struggle to load without them too.

so i have to unsubscribe in the stream workshop, and just road highway railways and not plottable building ? just making sure i read that right. i went into the setting and it say in total i got 914gb so, i am confuse where you got 16 from

You don't have to unsubscribe from everything, you can just go through your custom assets and see which ones you really wanna keep and those that you rarely use and won't miss - nonetheless, it's important you drastically decrease your asset count. Also, yeah, don't unsubscribe from custom roads you have used in the game - if you haven't used them, then it's okay to unsubscribe from them too.

I think you're confusing disk space with RAM. Please only check how much RAM you've got.

so, got a question i delete a quite a few asset but i just worried that i delete thing that my city has and it been a while like 5 year since i played because it always broke on me weather with mod or not so is there a way to find the asset and sub to it again ???

You can go to Content Manager > Savegames, look for this particular save and then subscribe to the assets it uses by clicking "Subscribe All".

hello, i am very extremely eternal grateful for your help because i got it working, i must of delete some asset and that why it was not loading. i just got 1 question though, how do i make a group for my mod/asset for each different city ??

You can make collections on the Steam Workshop, but if you're asking how to automatically add the assets/mods you're using in a city in a collection, then I don't know of any way, sorry.
