Cities Skylines Xbox 1 issue with trains from other cities since mass transit

Hello, I downloaded the mass transit and created the large multi platform train station. I connected all the lines (including a seperate one for trains from out of the city) ever since then, I've not received any outside trains. I've made sure the station is set to receive 'inter-city' trains and have checked the line is connected properly, but nothing seems to work.
Thanks for any help and suggestions.

try connecting all platforms to the outside line to see which line allows external traffic

Unfortunately still no luck. I've even built a normal train station right next to the outside train connection. I'm receiving the freight trains as normal, but not the passenger trains. They're not even passing by my city
