Description
Trees not placing

What is your game version?
Xbox one edition

What expansions do you have installed?
After Dark,
Snowfall,
Natural Disasters,
Mass Transit,
Green Cities
What mods are you using?

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
When I place trees next to streets, paths and buildings the tree places but it’s invisable and I am unable to place a tree where I just placed one (as it’s invisable). It only started happening when I installed the green cities dlc on Xbox one edition.

Can you replicate the issue? If yes, please explain how you did it.
As above.

Yep, for PS4 too. They removed single tree placement tool and put a brush tool, but the brush doenst allow to put tree in small gaps between roads or buildings. Right now is impossible to do a beach road and put some coconuts tree following the path. I hope they fix it soon, trees are a very important resource to make a beautiful city.

Yes, PS4 as well. I noticed it earlier after the update version 6.01 (Added Concerts radio station). New tree types were added and I find out there’s a tree brush tool. Handy tool to get rid of or plant, a lot of trees at once. I tested it all out, then find out the trees are invisible if I plant them around buildings and bridges. Might get lucky a tree does appear here or there. Planting out in the open doesn’t seem to be a problem, only amongst structures is. Hope they fix the bug because I like putting trees around buildings. They’re there, just an invisible tree bug, because planting another won’t plant on the same spot.

Since this is a non game breaking issue, they won’t fix it until the next expansion pack comes out, it will be apart of that download. Who’s knows when that will be.

I heard that it was a bug about some of the scenarios like floodland for example. The part about the population being under 1 and it’s already a loss before starting any population.
If that’s a bug, like other similar situations with other scenarios, these scenario issues never got fixed in the last update. To begin losing before gaining 1 person, then want 120 weeks to win, only to lose at 15 weeks due to that already existing losing condition, is poor developing, as you can’t get to 120 game weeks if you’ve lost at 15 with no population to begin with because it has to be higher than 1 and what’s worse, it still hasn’t been fixed!

Now, these invisible trees is making the game stupid. Got new types of trees and it’s quite silly that they can’t be shown, making it a turn off for people, as people have wondered why don’t I put trees there etc. Well, that’s because it’s an invisible bug, then people say then that’s not a good thing for the game. Therefore, it’s a game breaker when people either play or have a look and see that there’s bugs. People would get the game, but they don’t with bugs through it. It seems they care about making money a whole lot more and not fixing the entire threads of issues that continue to grow!

It can be a game breaker when you let them know and they tell you to search the forums for a solution and there isn’t one. We’re still waiting for fixes and changes, yet they keep bringing out more content and concentrating on other games etc. Just saying. If you believe the tree bug will be fixed in the next update, then fine, but the scenario issues have still been a plague for quite some time.

Tree placement is better than what is was from the Green Cities dlc.
It's still not as good as before that Green Cities update though is it?
You still can't place trees as close to paths as you could originally, before the patch that messed it up.

Resolved my arse.
