Playing on random world, trying republic for the first time. at some point in the last ~20 years of game time, all trade posts have become impossible to siege, as far as I can tell. trade wars do not end because there is no way to get the warscore above 75%. I tried switching to a different realm and invading my republic, still could not siege trade posts. it was working for at least the first 60 years of the game. i tried starting a new game and it's possible to besiege them, so only this save seems to be affected. i went back to the earliest save I had (5 years earlier), and the problem was present there. it kind of takes a lot of the fun out of playing a republic. I really hope this can be fixed, it sucks putting hours into a game and having something like this happen just when you're getting into the swing of things

Steps to reproduce the issue.
there is a republic in northeast spain where there is an ongoing trade war, where there is an army trying and failing to siege a trade post (see screenshot). you can also reproduce it by declaring war on any republic or patrician, and trying to besiege a trade post.

Alright, now i'm really confused. It turns out that I was wrong before, in assuming that it was impossible for anyone to besiege any trade post for any reason. after some more testing, I've found that they can be besieged under certain circumstances. As to what those circumstances are, I'm not sure. I played as the guy in the screenshot, ended the current trade war, and started a different one, for the post in narbonne, and lo and behold I could besiege it. so I switched to one of the families in the republic I was playing before (in Anatolia - the awesomely named republic of dragunsland), and declared on a family that had trade posts in thrake and rhodos. I could besiege the one in rhodos, but not the one in thrake. the issue might be limited to the land of the republic itself (though it wasn't an issue earlier in the game, as my post in nikomedia - the capital of the republic - has been destroyed and rebuilt at least three times in the course of the game already) and land controlled by those who have an NAP with the doge of the republic (which is the case with thrake). Maybe there is some logic at work here, but even if there is, the fact is that the AI has been trying to besiege trade posts that it can't besiege, standing their armies on those provinces to no avail. If anyone could shed some light on what might be going on here, I would definitely appreciate it.

The issue is that the trade posts were occupied in a previous war, and when those wars ended, the occupation was not lifted. they can't be besieged because the game thinks they are already occupied. note the flag in the upper left corner of the trade post in the screenshot
