Oh, hey, I've seen that one before. Very weirdly coded event. The mother can choke on the communion wafer and "call out the name of the real father of my newborn child" - the chance for that outcome is 5 times greater if the child is a bastard, but it doesn't actually require them to be a bastard. And the event then, as you saw, causes the child to be marked as a bastard, regardless of reality.
