Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Playing as a pagan, i had a crusade called against me (Pomerania). However, at the time clicked down to less then a month away, it was replaced with a Crusade on Byzantium.

Steps to reproduce the issue.
-Load Save.
-Check that Crusade is happening.
-Wait a few months and it will disapear.
-Watch the Crusade for Byzantium pop.

Without any message or anything? The mechanic is kinda weird from the defender side.

Any Crusade can get retargeted during the preparation phase, and it doesn't notify you, the "you are being targeted" icon just goes away, which is a little odd, yes. The Fourth Crusade thing that aims it at Byzantium is just a special case. Besides retargeting, sometimes they just give up on declaring one at all, happens to me a lot in current game (because there's no Catholics left except the Pope and Holy Orders, and I have the whole world on my side), same silent disappearance.
