One line summary of your issue
3.2.1 - HRE warring itself into bankruptcy over Rome

Game Version
3.2.1

What expansions do you have installed?

All of the above

Do you have mods enabled?
Yes

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
(Removing all mods didn't solve my problem)

I have taken over Rome as reformed Hellenic. Problem is that the HRE will not stop declaring war on me. The HRE is over a thousand goddamn gold in debt and they will still declare war and drive themselves deeper no matter how many times I kick them back.

What I THINK is happening is that the Pope is asking for the HRE to try to retake Rome in exchange for a coronation and the HRE accepts no matter what because he needs to be crowned. Even if he ends up so wildly in debt that he can never recover, he will accept every time.

Steps to reproduce the issue.
Be a non-Christian religion.
Take Rome.
Wait.
Win the inevitable pope war.
Repeat the last two steps.

Think the Pope needs to be a little more lenient on Coronation demands. Those demands are one of the main reasons for Catholic MA tanking so quickly in the Game...

I've had this exact issue; I feel like this could be fixed if this kind of papal war imposed a proper truce so they could only do it once every few years--and that truce hard-blocked the Pope from requesting it so they don't have the option to just take Truce Breaker, which would presumably mean the Pope would have to make a different coronation request, so you'd probably average one war like this per HRE ruler lifetime.
