Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I started an ironman game in 769 as a count on Sardinia, formed the duchies of Sardinia and Corsica, then the kingdom of Sardinia and Corsica, and eventually gained my independence from the Byzantine Empire. Since then I have gotten my crown authority up to absolute and have found that every ruler in the world has a -30 opinion malus against with the reason being my crown authority when I scroll over their opinion. Needless to say this has made diplomacy very difficult as well as having been excommunicated several times. So I started quick games as West Francia and Bavaria, immediately raised CA from none to low and checked global opinions. From West Africa to East India with both kingdoms there was a -5 opinion malus for Low Crown Authority with all rulers. Verified game files and uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail.

Steps to reproduce the issue.
Raise crown authority as an independent ruler.

Raising CA always invokes a hit to feudal vassal opinion because the crown is shifting power out of vassals hands into their own. Try balancing the CA malus out by changing other laws (elective, free investiture, taxes, levies, etc) in favor of your vassals. For more information on Non-Conclave CA Law

I understand crown laws but as I stated, as the king of West Francia my CA shouldn't affect the opinion of some random sovereign Raja clear on the opposite side of the map.

So I’m going to bump this thread because it’s been 4 months and 2 patches and this issue has yet to even be addressed. I’ve posted here, contacted the help desk, and made a thread on steam. Where else do I need to go? This game is tied for my favorite game of all time but I hate the Conclave DLC and this bug is game breaking at a -30 opinion malus from EVERYBODY in the late game.
