Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
i sent a person on a expedition to find a lost book, he got burnt at the stake by someone then roughly 3 years later he came back to me with the sad news he failed to find the book, i did get an event earlier than that saying he was struggling finding the book and to pay him gold, he was still very dead then though but i did not notice it then, i am unable to come to the conclusion to say if he will always fail if he is dead

i do have one mod installed and that is no artefact losing, i do not presume this is a cause in any kind

Steps to reproduce the issue.
send person on lost book expedition
they die/get burnt on the stake
they eventually get back to you

thanks, nothing worse or better than your long dead brother returning to say the book wasnt in the real world or in heaven/hell, a+ for dedication to looking for it though
