Imperial Elective - Cannot elect previous candidate

No

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I've been playing as Byzantium and I think I've come across a bug in the succession system.

As Imperial Elective, my son was an eligible candidate to inherit. That changed when my wife became eligible, which after reading the wiki would be working as intended. Now I've killed my wife but my original candidate is not eligible anymore.

I think this is a bug because his siblings are now eligible as well. Only this one is not eligible anymore, and he doesn't have any traits that make him ineligible: He's Born in the Purple, in perfect health, none of his parents stand to inherit anymore.

My suspicion is that there is a maximum number of candidates, and with my wife becoming a candidate, he came back in the bottom of the valid candidate list, which may be bigger than the maximum candidate number. In which case, I think direct sons should be prioritized in the candidate list.

I don't know if other types of elective succession are affected.

In the save attached, my son did convert to another religion, but I had this happen with another character in the same save that stayed the smae religion and culture (Governor Anatolios of Tao).

Steps to reproduce the issue.
- Have any title with Imperial Elective succession
- Have your child as your chosen candidate
- Have your spouse become a candidate
- Your previously chosen candidate should be now ineligible, even if your spouse dies, while his siblings still are eligible.

There is also an issue where if a parent is a valid candidate some of the elective ones won't allow their children to be nominated. That may not be in place here if her other children are valid.
