No
Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Now, of course, when I go to war with someone, defeat them, and they surrender, I am automatically forced to release all prisoners have I seized from them realm. However, during a war, the enemy's allies sacked my capital while my armies were far away, sacking theirs, and captured a lot of my character's immediate family. Now that the war is /over/, this guy - who I defeated, who is now my vassal - is holding my character's wife (and other minor family members) in his dungeon, and won't ransom them, because he doesn't like me.
Adding an "ironman" feature to a game like this is sadistic, and the feature should be removed out of mercy. I only save on one file, but for things like this, I am just bribing his successor to like me better, and killing him with a console command.
Steps to reproduce the issue.
- Start a "claim title" war
- Get your capital sacked by the holder of the contested title you are at war with, losing family members
- Win the war
- Observe that your courtiers are still being imprisoned, by your vassal, who has surrendered to you and whose title you have gained.
