Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
When generating a shattered world, I set the game to remove de jure kingdoms and empires.

Steps to reproduce the issue.
Start date 769

Press shattered world button

Set De Jure Kingdoms and Empires to "No Kingdoms"

Press Generate

Start game and enter de jure kingdom and de jure empire map modes, to see existing de jure kingdoms and empires.

I'm getting this as well, I also tested it in 1066 and it didn't work. Both on 3.0.1 and 3.0

Is there any resolution to this? I just tried to generate a Random World in 3.1.0 and still had this same problem.

Hi, no fix was put in the most recent 3.1.0 patch, but we are aware of the issue.
