Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Was trying to create the Habsburg Empire starting as the count of Basel in 1066. I gathered the lands of the eastern marches and I had the duchies of Swabia, Savoy, Transjuriania, and Slavonia as non de jure vassals. I had enough men to bring an independence faction to like 70 percent and had favors on some kings so I assassinated the leader (been playing a intrigue playthrough) and then became the leader. From there I declared war, and won. Afterwords Swabia, Savoy, Transjurania, and Slavonia became Independent. I kept Thuringia because I held the duchy.

I hadn't been in a war before hand like some other people seem to have been, but I had been on Crusade and got a revolt before I declared independence, so maybe thats it? I doubt it, but...

Playing in Ironman and didn't think to make a backup.

Best screenshot I can manage (not currently playing, or on that laptop). The realm is mostly correct, just missing Slavonia.

Also yes, that is a non player child of destiny. Don't ask me how.

Steps to reproduce the issue.
Duke or above and a vassal. Have land outside de jure, and declare independence via faction (maybe actual war works too). Win the war and non de jure vassals will become independent.
