Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I got the event where you play chess with death when I was playing as the Emperor of Mali. My heir was my sister wife and I chose the option where she would die as well if I lost.
And well I lost that game of chess and both the emperor and the sister wife died.
This caused a game over even though I had other sisters who could have taken over.
Steps to reproduce the issue.
Play a game of chess with death > chose the risky option where someone else also got the chance to die > have that person be your heir > game over if you both die in the event.
