Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I am playing in ironman mode. (Completely vanilla run, never used mods)
I get an event where a courtier is spreading a rumor that I have been unfaithful to my wife. The only option is "... and now my wife believes those rumors". When I hover over the option the game crashes to desktop. What might be important is that my ruler is incapable and has been for some time now.
I tried working around it by executing the courtier and my wife but same result (that is a shame, because neither party involved in the event is alive now).
Please help me work around the issue or fix it! I have invested hundreds of hours (playing on a day-by-day basis) into this game, and would not like to abandon it, because of a bug which makes it impossible to get past this point.
I must add that I am really disappointed by this. There have been numerous errors while playing this game already (mostly events). I previously over the years had problems which broke my games with the updates and new releases, and I finally thought that by now there is no risk to play, but it turns out I was wrong the game is still buggy and I am unable to play it through.
Steps to reproduce the issue.
Unpause the game and on July 6th the event will pop up and crash the game.
