Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
when attempting to distribute land to someone of a different religion in exchange for a better government vassal, unless the vassal is given every temple and city in the county, he will have very little control of the religion in the county. worse yet, as the AI prefers to demand religious conversion instead of revocation, such a demand will be met with the game inexplicably generation a new priest of the leig's religion. at it's worse this will hang the game for minutes if the AI is demanding several religious conversions at once.

Steps to reproduce the issue.
1.Conquer/revoke province
2. Create temple vassal of your religion
3. Assign county to someone of a different religion
4. wait for the AI to demand religious conversion

Seems to be about the same issue as this.

I would like to know if this change was intended or not. If it was, it should be noted that on_new_holder and on_new_holder_usurpation do not fire for these new temple holders.

I guess it's a conflict with the base game and the HF update in general. I remember attempting another start as Semien after the great works update and my game got flooded with notifications like this from a lower count constantly demanding religious conversions. I don't remember if I was his direct leige at the time as I was a vassal to abyssinia, but the province was freshly conquered Muslim land

This also occurs when you have a landed Court Chaplain set to Research Cultural Technology, if they become a Heretic, then their temple is usurped immediately and you don't get a chance to convert to the heresy.

So it's not HF but patch 3.0 that is to blame. It never happened before HF came out with patch 3.0, and it has persisted since.
