When you are a member of the assassins society, you can get missions to assassinate your own character. Being a rival with the leader of the society might have to do with it.

Steps to reproduce the issue.
Be in the assassins society.
Get a mission to assassinate yourself.

I'm afraid we're going to have fix it as it has been found during testing that following through and assassinating yourself creates a small tear in the space time continuum.
