Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
Playing as Makuria. Nubian has gender equal, the title i want to assign is female-preferred. When hovering over the reason why i cant assign it is empty.

Please explain how to reproduce the issue


Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?

I believe granting titles (rather than inherting them) is based off your religions gender preference, not your gender law.

I think so? Normally male preferred/only religions aren't allowed to use the female preferred/only inheritance, but Nubians have the tradition of warrior queen's to use it anyway. So my guess is they should be able to assign titles to women.


Netherless something isn't working correctly. Either it should not be possible, then the tooltip would need to show why it's not possible. Currently it just says "Not possible because of the following" and not elaborates why it's not possible. Although it would devalue the tradition quite a bit. Or it is supposed to be possible, but currently doesn't work.

I do actually get the standard reason (about the Faith doctrine being wrong) when playing in English so this appears to be a missing localization.

As you said, this is an issue exclusive to German localization, and has been fixed for a future update to the game!
