Thank you for those files. system.log shows that you have the previous version (1.5.1) installed.

Please verify your game files on steam (Right click on the game -> Preferences -> Local Files) and if that doesn't help:

  1. Move any valued save games elsewhere
  2. "Uninstall" in Steam
  3. Manually delete both the Steam\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Crusader Kings III AND Documents/Paradox/CK3 folders (think you may have missed the first part here)
  4. Re-install game in Steam, run a Steam Verify when done.
  5. Start the game with no mods active and no launch command
In particular make sure there are no files or folders left under either the Steam CK3 or Documents CK3 locations, before installing again.

have the same issue. Tried uninstalling deleted everything and reinstalled and it still dosnt launch at all. No error log since the game dosnt actually launch so its just not there.

Reverted to the previous version and that still works with no problems.

Thank you all for your reports. We are currently investigating the issue.

There is a possibility that since 1.6.0 release has unlocked Garments of Holy Roman Empire for everybody, the steam itself needs to be restarted to register the change of DLC ownership.

Clean reinstalling have not fixed the issue. No logs exist.

Edit:
Nope. Restarting Steam doesn't change anything neither.

Can confirm that version 1.5.1.1 works completely.
Also, if current version is opened from the Binaries folder, it crashes with no error, for a second appearing in the Task Manager.

Just adding to the others here that I'm also having the same issue and restarting steam, verifying game and reinstalling the game + the programmes mentioned in the error message has not worked. My crashes folder is also empty.

Same problem here, rolling back to previous patch runs the game, no way to make Fate of Iberia run, no CTD folder.

Same. No files to upload. I uninstalled, deleted all folders and reinstalled. Made sure window was up to date. Uninstalled every mod. It's as clean of a game as it can be and it still won't launch.
