I load my save, fast forward in time a tiny bit, then it crashes

Last lines from the error logs, which is repeated quite a few times (I tried re-loading the save over and over):

Well that is exacgtly what I was affraid of.. Honestly sucks. Btw if I start a new campaign where is a guaranty it will not happen again with any other updade - solution would be to prevent this particilar game from being updated but I do not see that it is even an option in Steam - only limitation of the update. Any suggestions? Cheers in advance!

Always hit play rather than resume
When you go to load game it'll say if new patch or not with a warning sign
Thats if you didnt notice it updating or the patch number or check sum looking different
You could check steam or paradox forums before loading the campaign
You can disable auto update via steam settings for each individual game, then go to the betas to get it to the appropriate patch you were previously on, which you can check via the save in game

Consoles dont seem to have a beta option at the minute tho sadly

Right click on CK3 in your game list, choose properties, in there should be a 'beta' tab where you can select which version to play. You also then need to go to the dlc tab and disable any dlc that was released after the patch you are using came out. (Example: if you revert to 1.5.1.1, you need to disable Fate of Iberia.)

I have the same issue, started my ironsave game played for a while and now crashing always at the same time (its December 31 before starting January). its really frustrating. i mean you play 200+ hours and then this is happening. . Does anyone know how to fix that or got help?
