Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
I create a feudal character (to have a contract for protection) as a vassal to a superpower; adopting Arabic, Persian and/or Islam will cause my contract to reset the instant my character dies.
Please explain how to reproduce the issue
To bypass the clan government type and have a feudal contract, I create a non-Muslim, non-Arab, non-Persian character as a vassal to a great power, change the feudal contract and adopt either Arabic culture, Persian culture or an Islamic faith. The instant my character dies, the feudal contract resets to square one, while keeping the feudal government type. I tried to play through multiple generations of my dynasty but the same happened: Contract resets once my character dies. I even tried different regions/lieges (Europe, Middle East, North Africa and Persia) with the same unfortunate result.
Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?
Create a Greek/Orthodox vassal to the Abbasid (changing culture/religion is easier) with the traits: Schemer, Theologian, Melancholic and Intricate Webweaver with high intrigue, learning but accepted for Ironman/achievements. Adopt either an Arabic culture, Persian culture or convert to an Islamic faith and change the feudal contract (the order here doesn't really matter). Once you have an heir, attempt suicide and see what happens. Or take our time and enjoy the events without shortcuts and live a healthy life, but the outcome is the same.
